Affirmative Action

Tata Group has a century-long history in promoting community development initiatives and it strives to ensure opportunities and equity for socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society in the country at large, and specifically the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes communities, Women from marginalised sections of the society and People with disabilities, known as Affirmative Action community. Affirmative Action approach intends to create a level-playing field for underserved sections of community.

At Tata Projects Limited (TPL), we are guided by the Tata group’s mission “To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally through long-term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with trust.

TPL endeavours to facilitate positive change in communities by engaging its employees across its office and project site locations. We believe that employee volunteering plays a key role in enhancing skills, self-esteem, ability to effectively deal with new challenges and engage better with other employees and the communities.
