ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS) has awarded Tata Projects the civil and structural construction work for the Hot Strip Mill (HSM#2) in Hazira, Gujarat. The HSM project is a part of the company’s current 5.5 MTPA expansion. The project is scheduled to be completed by FY2026.

Tata Projects has been awarded the Chennai Metro Rail’s 9 km twin-bored tunnel under Package TU-01. The tunnel extends from the Venugopal Nagar station shaft to Kellys station and is expected to be completed by FY2026. Tata Projects successfully completed the construction of the new terminal building at Prayagraj Airport in just 11 months, setting a remarkable pace for airport development in the country and making it the “Fastest constructed airport of India”. The New Airport complex is spread across an area of 50 acres with a centrally air-conditioned building on an area of 6,700 sqmtrs. The inauguration of this modern terminal, located at one of India’s oldest airports, was graced by the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.

Tata Projects is delighted to be associated with 1.2-metre Trisonic Wind Tunnel for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The project is being developed at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The Wind Tunnel facility will enable ISRO to conduct high-velocity aero-dynamic tests on space vehicles for simulations ranging from Mach 0.2 to 4.

First Solar Manufacturing Facility is a colossal greenfield facility covering 127 acres of area housing a cutting-edge production area of 50 acres, a dedicated 230kV Electrical Substation, Zero Effluent Discharge System, Recycling Services, and Industrial Gas Production Facility, located near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With construction activities beginning in November 2021, the manufacturing facility is conceptualised and built with advanced facilities such as sensors across production lines, automation devices and manufacturing execution systems in just 19 months.

Tata Projects has successfully commissioned 220 kV Marsyangdi Kathmandu Transmission Line in Nepal. The project has been constructed to evacuate the electricity generated from Marsyangdi river basin hydro power projects to Kathmandu. The 82 Km line from Tanahu, Markichowk to Matatirtha, Kathmandu has contributed to reliable transmission network and has additional power supply to Kathmandu, fulfilling the load demand.
